8 Week Speed & Strength Program

This program is built as a structured training season focused on athletic performance development for multi-sport athletes. It combines principles from field sport performance, sprint mechanics, and functional strength training to help athletes improve speed, power output, movement efficiency, and overall athleticism.

Who it’s for

This program is ideal for middle school, high school, and college athletes in any sport: soccer, football, volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, baseball, etc. Looking to improve their speed mechanics, get stronger, and move better. Whether they’re in-season, off-season, or in a development phase, this program builds a foundation that transfers to the field or court.

Commitment
8-week training cycle.
Athletes select and commit to Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs.
Limited spots available in each time slot for coaching quality.

Program Objectives

This is more than just workouts. It’s a progressive training model structured like an in-season performance block:

Linear and lateral acceleration training focused on posture, force application, and first-step explosiveness.

Jump and landing mechanics to enhance vertical force production and reduce injury risk.

Agility and deceleration progressions that improve reactivity and game-speed control.

Rotational power and core integration using field and gym-based drills.

Gym-based strength training with a functional approach: kettlebells, dumbbells, bands, and bodyweight to build tissue capacity, joint integrity, and usable strength.

Mobility and movement prep work embedded into every session to improve movement quality and recovery.

Each training day includes a full warm-up and a clearly structured progression that blends neuromuscular priming, reactive capacity, and movement-specific strength work.

We will also include baseline testing and ongoing performance tracking for sprint times, jump height, and key movement screens to guide individualized coaching within the group setting.
